line created by Travis Barker, best known for being drummer for the
punk rock band blink-182, Transplants, and +44. It was founded in
1999 hence the slogan, "Doing Our Own Thing Since 1999."
The company is based in Corona, California. Famous Stars And Straps
is inspired by an eclectic mix of Music (Punk, Hip Hop, Heavy Metal),
Art and Automobiles. The line consists of mostly men's t-shirts, jackets
and hats, although recently a women's line was added to the mix. They
also specialize in accessories like belt buckles, bandanas and skateboard
decks. The brand is easily recognizable by just the trademark "F"
logo, which is itself referred to as the "Badge of Honor."
The trademark "F" has often been used to form the words
"Family", "Famous" and various other words that
begin with "F", on print materials and clothing.

clothing has been worn by many celebrities including Travis Barker
himself, his bandmates Tim Armstrong, Rob Aston, Mark Hoppus and
rapper Paul Wall. Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas wore the clothing
on the cover of DUB Magazine (#28) and Brooke Burke on the cover
of Transworld Stance (June 2003). The clothing has also been worn
